PLEASE READ - IMPORTANT: Required Internet Explorer Settings for QuickServe Online   

QuickServe Online users who use Internet Explorer as their web browser should check their temporary internet file settings and change the "Check for newer version of stored pages" setting to  "Every time I visit the web page" or "Every visit to the page" if another setting is selected.  The correct setting will ensure that QuickServe Online displays the correct content after an engine serial number is entered or engine model selected.  This is especially important if a specific engine serial number is entered more than once during a QuickServe Online session.

Below are instructions for checking / changing Temporary Internet File settings in Internet Explorer.  To check your Internet Explorer version number, click "Help", then "About Internet Explorer".  The version will most likely be 8 or 9.  Some users may still have version 6 or 7.

Internet Explorer Version 8 and 9:

Select "Tools" (link in upper right corner, or top menu bar on left side of page), then Internet Options (last item in the drop down).  In the Internet Options window, on the "General" tab, click "Settings" under "Browsing History".  In the "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" window, under "Check for newer versions of stored pages", if a setting other than "Every time I visit the web page" is selected, change the setting to "Every time I visit the web page".  Then click OK twice to exit the "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" and "Internet Options" windows.   Click "here" for more detailed instructions.


Internet Explorer Version 7:

Select "Tools" (top menu bar), then Internet Options (last item in the drop down).  In the Internet Options window, on the "General" tab, click "Settings" under "Browsing History".  In the "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" window, under "Check for newer versions of stored pages", if a setting other than "Every time I visit the web page" is selected, change the setting to "Every time I visit the web page".  Then click "OK" twice to exit the "Temporary Internet Files and History Settings" and "Internet Options" windows.

Internet Explorer Version 6:

Select "Tools" (top menu bar), then Internet Options (last item in the drop down).  In the Internet Options window, on the "General" tab, under "Temporary Internet Files", click "Settings".  A "Settings" window will appear.  Under "Check for newer versions of stored pages", if a setting other than "every visit to the page" is selected, change the setting to "every visit to the page".  Then click "OK" twice to exit the "Settings" and "Internet Options" windows.
